The new Albert Elbaz/Lanvin for Acne denim line has come to life faster than I expected. Some of the pieces are super chic as we all knew they would be (see bustier dress in pic #4, hello!@#$). The over-sized smoking jacket and the dresses are lovely but the jeans require further investigation especially considering they range from $550-$650, but as they say.... if you have to ask....

wow! that is pricey. acne is gorgeous, though.
that's a ton of money for jeans, but Alber's work makes me weak in the knees:)
I love the trench-denim rocks!!
thanks for the comment, I always love to change my headers. And for the comment on my shoes! <3 ps: those jeans are expensive..
I can't afford to ask, but I do like these.
And yes, I avoid mirror shots like the plague! I understand their place in the blogsphere, but it's just not for me.
that denim dress is pretty much completely amazing. also for $650 those jeans had better be handmade, stitched to my exact specification and the butt had better hold up to 3+ years of daily bike riding!
I really love the last pair with the rolled up bottoms.
I've been trawling the internet for pics, thanks for these gorgeous pics. The prices are pretty reasonable...considering they were reported to be between $1000-2000!!
All amazing pieces. I agree that the bustier dress is very nice.
The rolled up jeans are great, I like it all. Way out of my price range though!
Very pricey but the designs are quite nice and looks to be body flattering.
tooo much for me. when did acne's become so amazing?
these outfits here look lovely!
i guess they teamed up with lanvin.nice.
I'll still have to keep admiring from afar because that's still way out of my price range!
Wow! That that price, they had better be really, really amazing jeans. The kind tyhat makes a size 16 butt look , well, size 10 or something!
I cannot afford, maybe shorts ha ha. but they are stunning...

No way, it's not practical to spend that much on denim [or anything really] during this current economical melt down. It's all fabulous but unless it's 90% off, I can't even go near it!
