Reason #512 Why I Love Vivienne Westwood

Because she will just say whatever pops into her head..... Case in point: Even though she designed Carrie's wedding dress in SATC, she recently said...

"I thought Sex and the City was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw. I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes."

Speak out Viv!

Wow-is that what she said? If she left early, she missed seeing her wedding dress in action, then!! Seriously though, I love her pieces-I have a Viv Westwood blouse and some Anglomania jeans, which are so unusual-I love them!

I agree with you, i love how she isn't afraid to say whats on her mind, I also sort of agree with her, to be honest i'm not that keen on much of the fashion in SATC.
Great post :)

she's kinda wrong about this, but it doesn't matter when you're as brilliant and as singular as vivienne westwood is!

joseph corre (agent provocateur), vivienne's son, is also someone who speaks his mind...and is brilliant and sweet.

I love her, but I don't love her comment! I guess I am a little defensive about SATC because I loved it so much

I heart VW too.

I can't believe she said that, it's so shocking especially after all the publicity she got for the movie, she could have been more respectful and ketp her opinion to herself in that instance don't you think?

If she wasn't part of the movie it would be a different story.

yeah she does speak her mind!

That's awesome, love her for that comment!

She doesn't need publicity from SATC, she's a legend in her own right.. and thankfully, she's honest.
