Coming soon to the shop. Also stay tuned for more photos of this guy. Hand dyed, 100% silk. After working on The Darcy Skirt in a new fabric I decided that the new fabric just wasn't working. It was far too heavy for it and much better suited for another design or possibly a bag. Instead I wanted to make a dress that can do double duty as either a wrap dress or something more like a kimono jacket which can be worn open and layered with other things like shorts. I came across some of these photos in my inspiration folder (anyone out there possibly know the sources?) This one and this one is nice too. It comes with a matching belt so it can be worn a number of different ways.
